Chapel hill oral surgery

During your initial appointment, Dr. Hill and his team will discuss the diagnosis and treatment options and offer plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions. While they may be able to provide treatment on the same day as the consultation, returning for surgery on a later day is often necessary.

One way you can ensure a smooth consultation is to provide us with the following information:

  • Your surgical referral slip, along with any X-rays (if applicable)
  • A current list of any medications you take
  • Submission of your medical or dental insurance before the consultation (may be submitted via our website)

Additionally, let us know in advance of your appointment if you have a medical condition that may be of concern before surgery. Common examples include diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, and rheumatic fever.

IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany patients under 18 during the consultation.

If you wish to have surgery, our practice requires a preoperative consultation and physical examination for your safety and well-being.

While same-day treatment is not guaranteed, we strive to provide prompt surgery scheduling and meet your needs whenever possible.
