Nothing matters more to us than the safety of our patients. We put safety first by embracing a unique, full-team approach to anesthesia, including an on-site Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for every procedure that requires general or IV sedation.

Dr. Hill and his team prioritize the well-being of everyone who walks through our doors. We take the time to understand each patient’s unique oral health needs and find the right treatment for them, always aiming to dramatically improve their quality of life with minimal intervention when possible. This commitment to well-being extends to our dedicated staff as well. Through rigorous continuing education, comprehensive wellness programs, and a supportive work environment, we help ensure our team has the tools to thrive. Dr. Hill does more than just stay on top of his continuing education. He is also a leader in the reconstructive field of oral and maxillofacial surgery, has lectured nationally for the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, hosting lectures, directing a Study Club, and participating as a faculty member of the Pikos Institute for more than 10 years. In addition, we have an in-house IT specialist that helps us stay on the cutting edge of ever-changing technology and each of our surgical assistants have training and certifications that exceed national standards.

Dr. David Lee Hill, Jr.

Dr. David Lee Hill, Jr. is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, passionate about providing his patients in Chapel Hill with exemplary care. He has extensive experience in dental implant surgery as well as hard and soft tissue grafting procedures and is dedicated to his patients’ comfort and safety.

As part of our commitment to patient safety, we have a full on-site anesthesia team for every procedure that involves general or IV sedation. The team includes a CRNA, whose role is to aid Dr. Hill with sedation to promote both your comfort and the most optimal surgical outcome possible.
